We worked on this project (and on bringing this album to life) for over a year.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nuave.art\/matyas-novak-visit-2024\/\">It was recorded in New York<\/a>\u00a0at the iconic\u00a0<strong>Skillman Music Studio<\/strong>\u00a0in March 2024, and we had the privilege of being there with Maty\u00e1\u0161 from the very beginning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Czech Dream<\/strong>\u00a0brings together four compositions \u2014 Maty\u00e1\u0161\u2019s own transcription of\u00a0<em>Vltava<\/em>\u00a0and his original fantasies on\u00a0<em>Rusalka<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The Bartered Bride<\/em>, and Czech folk songs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In December, during Maty\u00e1\u0161\u2019s Christmas recital at the\u00a0<strong>Petrof Gallery<\/strong>, we officially celebrated and \u201cchristened\u201d the CD. Jana was honored to do so together with the amazing\u00a0<strong>Zuzana Ceralov\u00e1 Petrofov\u00e1<\/strong>, CEO of Petrof Pianos, whom she greatly admires, and with Maty\u00e1\u0161\u2019s most loyal fan and student.
